Did you know? Trader Joes has an amazing little green juice for only $4.99. The juice is cold pressed, too for high nutrient extraction.
It’s great fuel for on-the-go. There are three flavor – red , orange, and green – but I’ve only tried the green because I like kale.
Try one out and write me back to tell me what you think.
Great little blog for you today explaining the importance of green smoothies and how to take your nutrition to the next level.
I make a smoothie with spinach, mango, cinnamon, vega one nutritional shake, and lion’s mane mushroom.
Solid nutrition is a foundation that takes time to build. Choices you make today are building a stronger body for you 10 years from now!
This is the mushroom I used in the smoothie. It is great for brain and memory, as well as nervous system health.
The Vega One shake that I reviewed in the video today is this one.

I have refined a recipe for an awesome and SUPER HEALTHY protein shake which will keep you going better than your next cup of coffee, banana or candy bar.
It simply consists of organic spinach, unsweetened almond milk, vega one chocolate shake powder, and pumpkin pie spice. It’s low-glycemic and contains NO SUGAR.
“What is vega one”, you may be wondering. Watch the video below and I’ll give you a vega one review and make share with you a delicious smoothie recipe.
This Vega One stuff is da bomb. I’ve had it everyday (sometimes TWICE A DAY!) for the last week or so, and I’m hooked.
I love that I get 50% of my daily vitamins and minerals (and awesome SUPERFOODS) in just ONE pack of Vega One Chocolate Nutritional Shake Packs.
When I have two of these per day, that means I’m consuming about ONE POUND OF GREENS + 100% of my vitamins and minerals. Talk about awesome! It’s the easiest (and most delicious!) way of fulfilling my ‘5 fruits and vegetable’ needs that I know of.
Go make yourself one of these all-in-one nutrition protein shakes right now! Buy Vega One: HERE.

Tomorrow I am getting up for a long day at work, and then I am traveling on a train for 5 hours, from Chicago to Detroit. I will wake up at 5:25am and will get to Michigan at 1am. Needless to say: LONG DAY.
How will I stay healthy, focused and energized for this long day?
In the video below I show you what I will be eating over the course of the day, and why it makes sense (nutritionally) as the PERFECT FUEL for the day I will be going through:
I will also be drinking lots of water, as well as mostly likely a fair share of organic green tea. (by fair share I mean, probably about a liter or more over the course of the day!).
Will definitely be carrying a bag of raw, sprouted, dehydrated almonds with me, too (forgot to mention that – I love the ones by “Living Intentions“, they are an awesome, healthy snack!).
Sachi Inchi Seeds are a great new snack, for vegans and non-vegans alike.
I started a new video channel for Awesome Vegan Blog.
I’ll be trying to post more and more videos and start to build a presence on youtube.
This is what my life looks like when I first wake up… I usually reach for food before I even brush my teeth or put on a shirt! :p
This video is about sprouted manna bread and dark chocolate (for breakfast!) and some of the reasons why these foods can be healthy…
Let know what you think! :)
Talk to you soon.
I went to the Dupont Circle farmers market today and bought some fresh kale. I made a raw kale salad with kale, apple cider vinegar, hemp seeds, olive oil, munchi curry, and himalayan salt. 100% Organic.
The organic kale greens are from Sunnyside Organic Farm. It feels great to eat food from a farmer I’ve met.
