Strawberry-Pomegranate-Cherry, Vanilla Vegan Milkshake

Wanted to use up the rest of the ice cream in the freezer before the winter hits. This one is so yummy. Depending on how much ice cream/milk ratio you put in, it can be thicker or thinner…

Ingredients: Organic pomegranate powder, vanilla, frozen organic strawberries, organic coconut sugar, SoDelicious cherry amaretto ice cream, unsweetened organic vanilla almond milk, cinnamon.

It’s sure to add some Light to your life (the secret is greens).

Add some berries for beauty (I have mixed berries of blueberry, raspberry, blackberry and strawberry). I added hemp protein powder (for that “boost”)… And covered it in flax milk (my new favorite unsweetened vegan milk). Also: kale.

Add a hidden serving of raw cocao nibs, and blend away.

This magic can not be made on an ordinary blender… This smoothie is why I love the Vitamix.

Smoothie recipe: mixed berries, hemp protein powder, flax milk, kale, raw cacao.

Vegan Organic Food, Vegetables and Rice Dinner

Germinated brown rice, boiled in vegetable stock, Turkish seasoning (has some sumac in it, which I love!), Bragg 24 herb seasoning, chili powder, and finished with olive oil. Fresh oregano.

Sweet potato fried with scallions in coconut oil. Pink salt, cajun seasoning, cayenne pepper, coconut sugar.

Oven roasted broccolini, carrots, apple, and rosemary with olive oil and Himalayan pink salt, and black pepper.
